This is a 66 18' Jet, Hull ID is H-16. Sold new at the 67 OKC Boat Show, had a 390FE Ford engine originally.
It is now getting a Mopar 440 that should be ~525HP.
From what I?ve been told this boat is a 1 of 1 in that the jet drive was installed at the factory and not dealer converted. Originally Bright red and gold metal flake, but while the hull itself is very solid the gel hasn?t held up so it?s going to get painted Plum Crazy Purple where is was red and White where it was Gold, going to keep the stock arrow design down the side of the hull. I am also working on getting a replacement engine cover made.
